  WHAT THE CHAMBER OFFERS

Monthly meetings
The Chamber has monthly meetings (except in July). Each meeting features a keynote speech by Finnish and Japanese officials or company representatives. The Annual General Assembly is held at the beginning of April.

FCCJ News and SUOMI Newsletter
The fccj news for members is published bimonthly. The newsletter contains reports on events and companies in the business between Japan and Finland. The SUOMI Newsletter which is a joint effort between the Embassy of Finland, the Finnish Intsitute in Japan and FCCJ, is published quarterly and covers a wide range of subject relating to Finnish-Japanese issues, including Finland related events in Japan.

Promotion of the Chamber & Members

Guidebook
To promote the Chamber and member companies a bilingual Guidebook is produced. In addition to presentations of each member company, it contains trade statistics between Japan and Finland.

Web Site

The Chamber's Web site contains in addition to general information, also the complete information from company guidebook with links to company sites. The site also has information on meetings, other events, daily updated business news from Finland, etc.
Information to Members
Apart from the newsletter and web site, members with an e-mail address are informed regularily by an e-mail bulletin about past and current activities within the Chamber. It also informs about seminars and events organized by other chambers and related organizations. At present, the bulletin is dispatche to about 650 persons.
Program activities

Business related

Seminars (taxation, IT, etc.), surveys (business confidence and compensation) and other business events, excursions to companies, institutions, etc.

Social activities

Golf competitions, Scandinavian Christmas Party, etc. Cooperation with Finland Village gives FCCJ members access to this unique Finnish style resort at Lake Matsubara in Nagano.
External Activities
The FCCJ is active in the EBC (European Business Council), JMEC (Japan Market Expansion Competition), the FCIJ (Foreign Chambers in Japan) and other chambers of commerce and organizations for promoting foreign business in Japan.
