  FCCJ ORGANIZATION


 Board of Trustees
Board of Trustees serves as a long-term guarantee of the Chamber's development. The board is elected for five years and can immediately be re-elected. Number of members is unlimited. Members are selected among long term business residents in Japan, they may include present Ambassador of Finland to Japan, past Ambassadors of Japan to Finland and prominent Japanese businessmen with long experience of business with Finland.

 Board of Directors
Members of the Board of Directors should represent member companies or be individual members and they are elected for a period of two years. The Head of the Finland Trade Center is automatically a member of the board.

The President should have Finnish citizenship and is elected for a period of 2 years and could be re-elected until the age of 65. The President is the official representative of the Chamber.

The Board should also elect a Vice President, who handles the duties of the President in his absence.

The Executive Director is appointed by the Board of Directors and his term is not time limited. His main responsibilities are to develop and execute annual activity plans, handle member recruitment and finances of the Chamber, reporting to the Board of Directors.
