The Foreign Chambers in Japan (FCIJ) is an informal organization made up of foreign chambers of commerce and business groups in Japan mainly for the purpose of information exchange develop the activities of the organizations.

Mr. Neil Moody, Executive Director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan holds the chairmanship in FCIJ.

BUSINESS CONFIDENCE SURVEY

The FCIJ initiated the first Business Confidence Survey among foreign affiliated companies in Japan in Spring 2002. 14 organizations participated in this project. Since then, surveys have been made twice a year, in the months of April and October.
