The FCCJ held its Annual General Assembly on Friday 30 March at the Embassy of Finland.
As the present President of FCCJ, Rauno Sirola retired, the Board elected Timo Varhama of Nippon Finnpap Ltd. as his successor. Mr. Sirola will be replaced in the board by Yoshinori Sano of Seiwa Accounting Service Inc.
Hirokuni Yoshida remains Vice President (according to the FCCJ Articles of Association
As new members to the Board of Trustees were elected:
Yasuji Ishigaki, Former Ambassador of Japan to Finland
Rauno Sirola, FCCJ President 1999-2000
Tadashi Tawarada, Former President of Kemira-Ube Ltd.
As Auditors were elected:
Seiichi Matsui, Vaisala K.K.
Mika Makinen, Elektrobit Nippon K.K.
The meeting and the reception held after the AGA was attended by 62 members and guests.
